North Run Baptist Church is pleased to announce the hiring of Reverend Adam Denny as our new Senior Pastor.

Adam’s hometown is Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Adam has served churches in North Carolina, Kansas, and Georgia.

Adam is married to Stephanie. They have three children, Abram Boone and Rosalie Grace - and another little boy on the way (Silas Matthew - due in April!). Adam has a passion for feeding God’s people His Word, disciple-making, missions, and a heart for those who struggle with addiction. Stephanie is loving, supportive, and engaging.

We expect Adam to begin his ministry with North Run around May 1st. To celebrate their arrival, the church will plan an installation service. A separate announcement will follow with details when available.

We’ve prayed that God would guide us to a Pastor who will have a heart for our North Run family and lead us into a new day of ministry. We believe those prayers are being answered!

A Message from Our New Senior Pastor

North Run Baptist Family,

Words cannot express how excited and humbled I am to receive your vote of confidence as the next Pastor of North Run Baptist Church. Everything I’ve come to know about NRBC has me eager to serve and we’re thrilled to seek God’s leading in a new season for our church family. God’s graceful hand was evident throughout the entire process of our calling to the church family and city of Richmond. Our prayer is that God would bless our church through my leadership for years to come and that we would see His glory put on display as we seek to worship Him to reach and develop all people into fully devoted followers of Jesus. Thank you so much for how warmly you have welcomed our family and how kind so many of your leaders have been in our coming together. Your search team and Pastor Larry have been nothing short of incredible!

Now is a time to continue seeking God’s guidance as we consider together what the future of NRBC will look like. Please pray for our family as we await the birth of Silas. My wife has been such a trooper through all of this! In addition, pray for us as we leave our current ministry and make our way to you. We already love you and the community of Richmond very much and cannot wait to see what the Lord may do in and through our church in the coming days.

Grace and peace to you,

Pastor Adam Denny
