Adult Ministries

Second Runners

Have you been wondering, what is that SECOND RUNNERS group? Well, it is a community of people who are about fifty-five years of age or older which meets the second Friday of each month for Christian fellowship (OutReach Center). A covered dish dinner begins at 6:00pm, followed by a short business session and then the program begins around 7:15pm. The program varies from month to month with musical groups, individual singers, interpretations of historical figures, travelogues, game night, etc. It is always a fun evening. Check the bulletin and Witness for upcoming meetings and plan to be a part of the group.

Widows to Widows

Widows to Widows is a ministry of support – one that prays for, encourages, and provides healing and understanding for our widowed members and friends. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month for a “Lunch Bunch”, usually beginning at 11 A.M. for a brown bag lunch and activity.

Guest and friends are always welcome!

Sunday School

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

9:45am - 10:45am

The Sunday School is the educational body of the church where qualified people lead the class members in instructional time of divine truth. Sunday School is an important evangelical tool for the church to grow disciples of Christ in direct support of the Great Commission as found in Matthew 28: 18-20.

North Run Baptist Church has Sunday School classes for all ages. Almost all of the classes use literature “from LifeWay Christian Resources, which is the Southern Baptist publishing company and the home of the Southern Baptist Sunday School Board.” Class offerings are highlighted below.
